June has started off well for our youngster with Noah winning Best of Breed (17 points) and Minor in Group at his first show in minor!

Alvin followed this up the next weekend winning his second Baby Puppy in Show and also 1st in Sweepstakes, well done to all!

Ravens puppies were born 24th May, we have one red & white boy, one red & white girl, one black & white boy and  one black & white girl!

Envy wins baby of breed at Toowoomba Royal and surprised me how well she went considering she wouldnt walk on a lead the week before!

Lincoln & Cathy win Best in Group at Caboolture under Breed Specialist Patrice Smith (Tullaview), we are very proud of your first BIG together!

We went along to the February Border Collie Open Show with a trailer full of naked dogs! For naked dogs they didn't do too badly:)) All three won their classes, Piper was Best Open in Show, Raven Best Opposite Aust Bred in Show and Magee Best Opposite Junior in Show. Lincoln and Cathy did well again winning reserve dog, best opposite Intermediate in Show and Best Gaited. Daniel and Lincoln also won handlers well done guys you make a lovely team!

Sadly we share that Shea passed away on the 12th Feb, whilst she has been very ill it was still a big shock as she had been well for the last couple of weeks.  So lots of sad face here at the moment but now she will be free of whatever it was that was making her so sick and for that we are thankful. She will live on in her darling little Noah and her daughters Delta, Peri & Tru and the rest of her lovely children and grandchildren.

26th January 2010 Australia Day

We have another very successful Australia Day with Piper winning her 2nd Best In Show at this event! To make it even better Lincoln won Runner Up Best in Show, well done Cathy & Linc! Raven was Best Intermediate in Show and Paige even made an outing with a respectable 2nd place:) Well done also to Daniel on 1st place in Handlers and to Bianca for 2nd place pictured with judge Eddie Ryder.

Daniel had a great weekend placing 2nd on Saturday in handlers with Memi and 2nd on Sunday with Destiny the Jack Russell!

Memi topped the weekend off by winning Best in Group under Mary Ryder and than Runner Up Best in Show under Eddie Ryder on Saturday night! A great way to top off 3 months of showing in Queensland, in 3 short months he has achieved over 200 points and an impressive list of wins:

The wins keep coming with Memphis winning Best in Group and Runner Up Best in Show at Alstonville on the 31st October finishing off his title in style!

Daniel had a great weekend at the Hervey Bay Shows winning Junior Handlers both days, first with Memphis and the second day with the lovely Jack Russell Destiny!

6th Sept Daniel & Magee won Best In Group at Pine Rivers Kennel Club under Judge Mrs M Martin, well done guys!

But during her 12 weeks here she amassed over 200 points  and

While Delta has gone home we welcome her stunning brother Memphis, who I had the pleasure of winning Dog Challenge with at Melbourne Royal the weekend before he ventured to Queensland!

Daniel impressed us all placing 3rd at the Brisbane Royal on handler day, what makes this so exciting is that Daniel only starting competing in handlers at the beginning of this year and has come such a long way in a such a short time!

We took 6 dogs to the Ekka and won 2 first places (well done Delta & Lincoln), two 2nd (Piper in a large Open bitch class), a 3rd and Daniel & Raven 5th.

The following weekend Delta won BOB and Intermediate in Group at Gundogs and Heavy Breed clocking up nearly 200 points since coming to stay with us and putting her over halfway to her grand!

Delta continues on her winning way, winning BIG at Durack and BIG & Intermediate in Show at Laidley. Making it an impressive 5 Best in Groups and 4 Intermediate in Shows in 3 weekends!

Magee also continues to do well winning another 3 Puppy in Groups and being awarded Reserve Challenges in big lineups from the Puppy class.

But the biggest news from the month is that Daniel won his Junior Handler class which means he qualifies for the Pal Junior Handlers final at the Ekka in a couple of weeks time! Picture below with his very handsome junior handler dog Rex - Ch Rex Bergerac de hu (Imp Hgy)

June just keeps getting better! We ventured over the border the weekend of 25/26/27th June so that Georgia and her good friend Kristin Greer could show, now that the girls are 7 they have been itching to get in the ring unfortunately the rule is 10 in QLD so they have a few years to go!

The weekend kicked off with a bang with Delta winning Best in Group and Intermediate in Show, a result she repeated an impressive 2 more time making it a clean sweep for her over the weekend!

June has been an exciting month so far with our very special and handsome boy Reed making the big trip to Cleverland Border Collies  Germany! We wish Steffi & Reed all the success in the world, we know he will do us proud over there.

June has also brought  us a new visitor, "Delta" Ch Ellagant Delta Blues , who will join us for a few months in sunny Queensland. We look forward to the challenge of this new breed, our first ever outside of Borders! Thankyou so much Ana & Ben for entrusting your beautiful Delta WiggleBum to us!

Daniel decided that he would like to have a go in Junior Handlers with his "new" breed and placed 3rd on Monday with Maverick in a large class of 18 children. Well done Daniel!

Wow what a great month, Piper wins Runner Up in Group at Marburg under judge Miss Veronica Royston, she followed this up on the Sunday with Best in Group at Durack under judge Mr Ogden. 2 weeks later she again won Best in Group under judge Mr Goodwin from Victoria! Magee has also had a great  month with 5 Minor Puppy in Group awards! He has also starting picking up challenge and reserve challenge consistently from the the minor puppy class. 6-8th March 2009 - 2nd Border Collie National

We headed off to Canberra for the 2nd Border Collie National, a big thankyou to Hailey who kept me company and awake for the big trip down and back! It was an amazing weekend of catching up with our friends from across the country an opportunity we only get every 2-3 years! Big congratulations to Paula & Sulley for winning the Best Head Dog class with over 20 entries. Well done to Reed & Lisa for getting a quailie in Gamblers, what a shame about that last jump in Jumpers!

I can't thank Teresa Bailey of Tehya Border Collies enough for having us all at her place and for organising everything we needed for the weekend! Congratulations on your amazing results over the weekend with all of your dogs placing and Yana winning Reserve Challenge!

Wow what a weekend, Saturday saw Lincoln again win Best in Group making him our newest Australian Champion. Thankyou Cathy for allowing me the pleasure of finishing off Lincoln's title, we certainly didn't expect to do it in just 2 weekends! To top off the prefect weekend Piper won Best in Group on Sunday!

We had a lovely start to the New Year at Maryborough with Lincoln winning Best in Group/Inter in Group and Piper Challenge and Runner up of Breed on the Saturday. Sunday saw Lincoln winning challenge and Runner of Breed. Our newest addition Magee (Quinora Special Agent Magee) won Baby of Breed on Saturday and Baby in Group on Sunday!

Back home at last! At our one and only show for the rest of the year, Piper won Bitch Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed. The night was also a success for Liz & Gemma (sired by Reed) who won Minor in Group, congratulations guys on your fist class in group I am sure there are many more to come!
I had the opportunity to get some new pics of Lille and Raven, thanks Nadia and to my family for their patience's! Both their pages have been updated. I have also added new photo's to Delta & Lincoln's pages.

Piper wins Bitch Challenge and Opposite Sex in Show at the Border Collie Club of QLD under breed Specialist Lauren Somers from Nahrof. Thankyou to Sharon Power for handling her so wonderfully and to Nadia who groomed her as always to perfection! I was very lucky to have a number of my dogs entered on the day thanks to my awesome friends! Lisa made Reed available for Kellie Ashdowne to show and they come 2nd in Aust Bred dog. Cathy Russell showed both Lille who won Opp Minor in show and Raven to 2nd in Junior bitch. She also showed Lincoln who won Junior Dog and Junior in Show, way to go guys!  Daniel and Paige did very well coming 2nd in a strong Intermediate class. Thankyou to everyone that helped my guys be there on the day:)

I will be away for an extended period of time so there wont be much news from me! But some of my wonderful friends will be showing and trialling my dogs so hope to have some news to report! Piper will be with Nadia Radcliffe of Classicyds, Reed with be staying with Liza Kaddatz from Agile Paws and learning how to be an agility dog! Lille will be starting her show career with Cathy Russell. Thankyou guys I couldnt have made this trip without your support!

We are planning some litters for later this year or early next year so keep an eye on our litter page for updates.

We had a great Australia Day with Piper winning Best in Show! Our first Best in Show, long overdue for Piper and hopefully many more to come! We had an excellent night at the Border Collie Club of QLD Speciality Show under Breed Specialist Janice Baldwin. Piper was awarded reserve Challenge and Runner Best in Show! Reed won Dog Challenge Opposite Sex in Show, Intermediate In Show & Best Coated Dog in Show. Paige was 2nd in class and Best Coated in Show. And Raven was placed 2nd out of 9 in the Baby Bitch class so a great result all round. Thankyou to Tracey Lamb for the below photo's.

April has started of with a mixture of joy and sadness, Ava had her puppies on the 1st April, sadly we lost 3 of the boys on their 2nd day. Later that week we had to say goodbye to our dear old boy Bundy as he lost his battle with cancer. Farewell our friend.

I travelled down to Melbourne to the Melbourne Speciality for the first time. I had a lovely time with mum, Jacqui and Susan Krol. Thankyou Susan for having us, we had an awesome time!! Jacqui took these great photo's while we were there, thanks Jacqui!
